Kim & Chris Bishop

I am so excited to feature these two on the blog this Monday! They are some of my favorite people in the entire world, and I'm lucky enough to call them my aunt and uncle.

Kim and Chris not only welcomed me in as family when Brandon and I got married, but they welcomed us into their home less than a year later as the two of us transitioned into Brandon's new ministry in Gadsden. The summer of 2019 was filled with loads of laughter, feeling spoiled, late night chats, patience as we looked for our new home, and lots of wisdom and grace shared in the entire process. They never once made us feel like an inconvenience, and going back into their house still feels a little like going home. These two are the best of friends, but they make no pretense about being perfect. That is a kind of love that is to be admired! They have not had formal portraits done of the two of them since their wedding, and I was honored to be asked to capture memories for them.

The beautiful field and mountain is their backyard view everyday! How special to create these for them at their home that they so willingly shared with us for a season. They were so natural in front of a camera, and any nerves they had melted away into an evening of fun!

Be sure to check out the photo at the end of the post to see what we created with one of their images!
